What to expect at Acupuncture One
We are committed to providing thoughtful, effective care. Please review the information below so that you know what to expect from our clinic. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to address them and make your experience as positive as possible.
-
We focus on solving your health problems as quickly as possible.
-
We try to minimize the discomfort associated with needles, if that is a priority. However, that may impact the effectiveness of the treatment.
-
We prioritize the effectiveness of treatment over providing comfort or enjoyment in the treatment process, as a massage or spa service does. Think of our service as a surgical procedure, people may not enjoy it, but it is essential for your health.
-
We can provide some information on the strategy of treatment. However, we are not an educational institution, so we do not attempt to provide information on everything related to acupuncture or Chinese medicine. If substantially more information is needed, we provide consultation at a cost ($55 per 15 minutes). Please book an appointment ahead of time for this.
-
To improve the efficient use of time and accommodate patients, we may treat multiple patients at the same time (overlapping appointments). We do check on the patient’s progress, but we do not sit down with a single patient from beginning to end.
-
We may take videos of patients before and after treatment if needed to evaluate progress. This is just to document the effectiveness of the treatment. Without your written authorization, it will not be released to anyone not involved in your care.
